In attendance: LeRoy Thorpe, Diana Piepho, Valerie Zantay
Mr. Wayne Burkhard attended the meeting to follow up on the letter sent by the select board to the Park Commission.
2 loads of sand for the beach will be delivered on Tues July 17 from Donovans. Lee Tryon will spread the sand on Wed.
Gary Obrien came to the meeting. LeRoy asked him to redo the ball field as there is still grass in the lines and more dirt needs to be put in. He also asked placeCityGary to fix the rail and post at the beach. CityplaceGary said he would take care of both this week.
Diana is looking into getting buoys for the rope that is cordoning off the deep hole in the toddler swimming area.
It was determined by the commission that the light on the ball field is the responsibility of the Select board.
Denis will be picking up the trash at the beach.
Bridget Krans interested in filling in for Andrew. Her name will be submitted to the select board.
Diana ordered and received the crank for the basketball hoop. No charge as it was on a lifetime guarantee.
Playground chips.. Diana called for an estimate and got $798.00 and $1191.00. We are going for the $798.00. She also called Rodger Tryon about removing the old chips and spreading the new ones. He did not yet get back to her with an estimate.
Valerie is planning to attend the Mon Select board meeting on Monday to request a letter for the big belly trash compactors.
